Dictation Box is not opened while in Tray Icon Only Mode

Problem:

When a user is dictating in "Tray Icon Only Mode", the Dictation Box may not open if there are no other applications open on the computer. This behavior may be encountered when Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10.1 is running on Microsoft Windows 7.

Solution:

When Dragon NaturallySpeaking is running in "Tray Icon Only Mode", we recommend using the predefined hot keys to open the Dictation Box. The default hot key assigned to the Dictation Box is "CTRL+SHIFT+D". This hot key will open the Dictation Box regardless if there are other applications opened on the computer.

Note: The Dictation Box can be used to dictate and edit text into a non-standard window.
